How to Use the 38 mm Hair Curler Here’s how to attach the 38 mm hair curler to your base: 1. Hold the base of the interchangeable hair styling tool and turn the locking knob counterclockwise so that the arrow points to the unlocked padlock symbol. 2. Insert the 38 mm curling iron into the base, following the pattern in the base. 3. Make sure the barrel is securely attached to the base, then turn the locking knob clockwise so that the arrow points to the locked padlock symbol. 4. Turn on the styling tool by holding down the start button for 2–3 seconds. 5. Set the desired temperature by clicking the start button. 6. The indicator light flashes while the tool is heating up. When the desired temperature is reached, the indicator stops flashing. 7. The curling iron is now ready for use. The device automatically turns off after 60 minutes. 8. Divide the hair into sections. Start with the lower section and work your way up. 9. Spray the hair with heat protectant and curl one section at a time. Choose a curling technique Classic curls Place the curling iron at the root of the hair section and wrap the hair around the barrel all the way to the top. Hold the curling iron for 5–10 seconds, then gently release it. Let the hair cool, then comb it through with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Set it with hairspray. Tip! Curl the hair loops in different directions for extra volume. Natural Waves Place the curling iron a few centimeters away from the base of the loop. Wrap a section of hair around the curling iron, but leave the top section out. Hold the curling iron in place for a few seconds, then release the hair. Let the hair cool, then comb it through with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Set with hairspray. Beach Waves with a Curling Iron Place the curling iron a few centimeters from the top of the loop and secure it with the clip. Twist the hair by rotating the curling iron 1–2 turns in a vertical position. Then wrap the hair around the barrel and hold it for 5–10 seconds. Gently release the hair. Let the hair cool, then comb it through with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Set it with hairspray.
