Sharpen the eyeliner pencil to a round tip (not too sharp) so you can apply it precisely. First, apply a base eyeshadow or lightly dust the eyelid with powder to absorb oil and mattify the lid. To apply the kajal pencil to the upper eyelid, dot it along the lash line where the lashes meet the skin. Then connect the dots along the eyelid in a curved line. For a smudged effect, use an eye brush to blend the edges. Draw one or more layered lines to achieve a darker look. For the lower eyelid, apply it as close to the lashes as possible along the inner rim of the eyelid.
