Primavera Eukalyptus globulus Bio

Eucalyptus globulus 85% has a revitalizing effect on the body, mind, and spirit. It helps you breathe more easily and provides relief during cold season. Its effects can be particularly soothing and alleviating for respiratory conditions. The genus name “Eucalyptus” comes from the Greek and means “the one who is well-enveloped,” from which the properties of the essential oil can be readily inferred. Eucalyptus globulus must not be used on babies. According to the tradition of French distillers: To remove highly irritating compounds (alpha- and beta-pinene and camphene from the top note, as well as aromadendren and globulol from the base note), eucalyptus is traditionally subjected to a secondary distillation under reduced pressure. This reduces the initial cineol content to 80–85%; hence the trade name “Eucalyptus 85%.”
