Indian sandalwood essential oil (bot. Santalum album) has a woody, warm, balsamic scent and is a heart-base note. The scent profile is balancing, warming, inspiring, and relaxing. It is extracted from the wood of the plant via steam distillation. Santalum album sandalwood trees are cultivated in managed forests, ensuring a transparent source for this valuable sandalwood oil. For our 10% sandalwood blend, we mix 10% naturally pure sandalwood essential oil with 90% jojoba oil.
