Like the necklace, the fragrance unfolds through rare, sparkling ingredients. A Rivière is a classic necklace made of gemstones of equal size or that flow seamlessly into one another. One of the most famous Rivière necklaces belonged to Queen Mary and consisted of 34 old-cut diamonds. She gave the necklace to her granddaughter, Princess Margaret, and it was auctioned at Christie’s in 2006 for nearly 1 million pounds.
