The texture is light and absorbs quickly—thanks in part to the formula’s inclusion of dibutyl adipate and diisopropyl sebacate, two emollients that feel silky on the skin without leaving a heavy or greasy film. Sun protection is provided by a triple-filter system consisting of diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, ethylhexyl triazone, and methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol, which broadly blocks both UVA and UVB radiation. At the heart of achieving a more even complexion are niacinamide and tranexamic acid: Niacinamide, also known as vitamin B3, reduces the formation of dark spots, refines the appearance of pores, and supports the skin barrier. Tranexamic acid complements this effect by slowing melanin production and counteracting dark spots. Panthenol and glycerin moisturize the skin and help keep it feeling comfortable all day long. Quercetin and tocopherol—also known as vitamin E—act as antioxidants to protect against free radicals caused by UV radiation and environmental factors.
