How does the sunscreen work?
A reliable double-layer system protects your skin from harmful UV rays for many hours, even in very high humidity and with increased sweat and sebum production.
Essential ingredients such as apricot, lotus, chrysanthemum, and camellia blossoms protect your skin and provide it with extra moisture and high-quality nutrients.
Millennia-old, skin-soothing plant extracts cool, soothe, and protect your skin from harmful external influences.
What’s in the Suncream?
A natural protective complex made from five wild plants—including rose root, guava leaf, cinchona, verbena, and aloe vera—plumps your skin with moisture and nutrients. Your complexion glows with a silky soft radiance and is perfectly protected against harmful UV rays, dust, and dirt.
Thanaka has been used in Myanmar for over 2,000 years to soothe and cool particularly sensitive skin. Antozone rose extract protects your skin from harmful external influences such as smog or ozone.
Helichrysum Italicum extract (Greek for “the Golden Sun,” Italian strawflower) is quickly absorbed by the skin and provides perfect protection.
Mallow extract soothes irritated skin and protects against external influences.
What is the best way to use sunscreen?
Shake the bottle vigorously before use. Apply the cream as the final step in your daily skincare routine to exposed areas such as the face, neck, décolleté, arms, and legs using MISSHA All-around Safe Block.
Note: The container is not filled to the brim with sunscreen. First, the cream may expand depending on temperature and storage conditions; second, it should be shaken thoroughly before use to ensure the ingredients are well mixed. The ml measurements are accurate.
How much sunscreen should I use?
For the face, use a fingertip-sized amount; for the body, use an amount roughly the size of half your palm.
How often should I reapply sunscreen?
To ensure perfect sun protection, you should reapply sunscreen every three hours.
When should I apply my sunscreen?
Sunscreen takes 30 minutes to become fully effective. Apply it especially carefully to areas most exposed to the sun, such as the forehead, cheeks, under the eyes, and the bridge of the nose.
What is the difference between physical and chemical sunscreen?
Physical / Mineral Sunscreen: Forms a thin protective layer and reflects UV rays. It is hypoallergenic and has extra-strong staying power.
Chemical sunscreen: Absorbs and neutralizes UV radiation. It has a fresh, light texture, isn’t sticky, and doesn’t leave a white finish.
What do SPF and PA mean in sunscreen?
SPF protects against UVB radiation (sunburn): UVB radiation does not penetrate deep into the skin, but it causes painful sunburn and irritation.
PA protects against UVA radiation: UVA radiation penetrates the skin and causes wrinkles, pigmentation, and skin cancer. The PA rating of a sunscreen indicates protection against UVA radiation; the "+" signifies the PPD rating of the sunscreen (persistent pigment darkening, i.e., how much slower the skin darkens compared to unprotected skin). PA +++ means it takes 8–16 times longer for the skin to react to UVA rays. PA++ is correspondingly shorter, PA++++ at least 16 times longer, and usually even higher.
Shake the bottle before use. Then apply a generous amount of Sun Essence to areas of skin exposed to the sun.
Don’t forget: Sunscreen should be reapplied approximately every 2–3 hours to ensure maximum protection.
