Material
Aluminum oxide is a naturally occurring element of extreme hardness, surpassed only by diamond. The aluminum oxide crystals are non-airborne, hypoallergenic, and antibacterial, preventing unwanted reactions and reducing the spread of bacteria that can cause skin irritation.

Personal Microderm should only be used once every 7 days. Each disk lasts 3-4 applications. Most treatments last three to five minutes. The size of the area to be treated and the duration of the treatment will ultimately determine how long a disk can be used.

To insert a new disk:
1. press the disk firmly onto the appliance post.
2. screw on the cap and tighten it firmly so that it is firmly seated against the black O-ring of the appliance
3. check that the washer sits slightly below the plastic cap.
